Dawson Waterfront Plan

Project Description

 Inukshuk identified lands available for use and which uses might be acceptable from a community development perspective. The plan provided an objective evaluation of the opportunities and constraints imposed by the existing uses, land ownership pattern, site location and management jurisdiction.

Project Description

Since its original construction, the VRC has undergone numerous minor renovations to accommodate changing staff needs. Over the ensuing years, new needs arose, such as the need for retail space, requiring further design changes. Our role included analyzing building condition, site issues and interpretive messaging to suggest possible design and programming solutions.

Project Description

 This study provided government and industry with a baseline assessment of the current state of the Yukon’s air cargo and air courier services. Industry health, current service levels, opportunities and constraints to industry development were examined and benchmarked against airport cargo operations in Alaska, BC and the NWT .

2003 General Landscaping Recommendations for Downtown Business District

Landscaping Recommendations Downtown

Project Description

Inukshuk produced recommendations for landscape elements in the Downtown Business District. Areas covers were: street tree and tree grate selection, shrub bed plantings and maintenance, site furnishings, color use and lighting for a more lively Downtown area.
