    Inukshuk examined the planning and development implications associated with numerous spot land applications in the Fish lake area. The study examined land suitability, potential servicing costs and potential land use conflicts between area users and the different land values present.

    Project Description

     Inukshuk worked with the community and village council to develop an OCP and zoning bylaw which adopted a flexible, sustainable approach to land development regulation intended to foster a positive climate for economic development.

  • Village of Mayo OCP & Zoning Bylaw

    Project Description

    IPD updated both the OCP and Zoning Bylaw to improve consistency between the documents and to set out a clear policy framework. Council considered topics such as land suitability, boundary expansion, infill development, infrastructure condition and ways of improving the planning relationship with the government of Na-Cho Nyak Dun.

  • West Dawson LAP

    Project Description

    Inukshuk worked with the Yukon and Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in governments to coordinate planning for public, private and settlement land across the river from Dawson City. The plan balances the desire to maintain the area’s character and existing rural lifestyles while allowing for future growth and change.
