  • Dena Cho Trail

    Project Description

    Following a traditional route along the north bank of the Pelly River, the 80 km trail commemorates the role of First Nations prospectors in the economic development of the area. The project is a partnership with the communities of Faro and Ross River and will provide the region with a major eco-tourism resource.

  • Millennium Trail

    Project Description

     We worked with the Yukon Council on Disability and other community partners

    to establish the Yukon’s first universally accessible trail, providing opportunities for

    environmental appreciation, heritage interpretation, sport and recreation for all

    abilities.

  • Old Corw Plan

    Project Description

    This 2002 plan will guide land use decision making for the next five years. The plan is a roadmap allowing community residents to see the direction Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation (VGFN) Council proposes to go on their behalf. By defining objectives and establishing priorities, it sets out an agenda for action that both the VGFN and Government of Yukon can respond to.

  • Rotary Peace Park Playground Re-Design

    Project Description

     Inukshuk was asked to redesign a playground slated for the City’s most used park on the Yukon River waterfront. The theme echoed the city’s history as a transportation hub, with play equipment based on trains and boats. The playground also included universally accessible play equipment and recycled rubber matting for wheelchair access and impact attenuation.
